HOME BAR, JUST RIGHT
Do you feel contented with what you see in a bar or not? Do you feel like you’re in a pub even if you’re just at home? Home bars should give you that feeling; a home bar is done right when you feel like it is right. It shouldn’t consume too much space of an area since it just a space for part-time activity. But you could also make your home bar as your focal point if you want to.
Most of the time, we use the home bar to swoon our guests and make them feel special, as if you really prepared for their visit and as if there is an occasion. It should be in a space where you can move freely, so as not to bump into something especially when you’re already tipsy. It should not have those sharp edges which could cause injuries to you and your guests. Remember, though, that a home bar isn’t a bar without liquors displayed; so, put some of your favorites there. And if you’re on a budget, you could save those empty liquor bottles, fill them up with colored water and display them. In that way, you’re not only saving your money but also Mother Nature.
