Folding chairs

Folding chairs are made from light material and they weigh between two to five kilos in order to ease carrying them around and they fold flat which makes them easier to store especially in stacks and carts.

The chairs come in different designs and styles depending on the specifications of the consumer. The materials used in making them also differ as the folding mechanisms also differ thus costing differently when in the market. The materials used in making folding chairs may include wood and others can be made from plastic materials. The styles may include the following: Leg pivoting, the legs of the chair can fold either under the seat or at the top of the seat. This leg pivoting can also include X-stools and x-chairs. Other folding chairs can fold on one side only.

These types of chairs are used in areas where permanent seats are not available and not possible for example in funerals, in sports, graduations and in churches or congregations of different types. In wrestling they are used as weapons and in homes they can be used when more seating space is required.
